Wooden
Cost: 300
The only real use for a wooden door is to use it to keep your creatures from places you don't want them to go (the Training room and Treasury). It won't stop the enemy. But you can ide boulder traps behind them.

Braced
Cost: 1000
Not much better than wooden doors but can last long enough to allow you to get ready for them coming through.

Steel
Cost: 1500
This door will gaie you plenty of time to prepare for the enemy. Use it along all approaches.

Magic
Cost: 6000
Anyone attacking this door will be attacked back if they are in the same tile as the door.
It does cost Mana to fire (500/ per shot) Best positioned in a corridor to make it harder for the enemy to just dig round it.

Secret
Cost: 3000
Enemies see a secret door as another stretch of wall. However, if they see one of your creatures going though the door the game is up and they can attack it. You can detect enemy Secret doors by trying to select the tile for digging. If you cannot keep a tile selected, try digging out the tile next to it to destroy the door.

Barricade
Cost:400
Barricades stop your creatures from moving as much as the enemies. But you can cast spells and shoot though them, so they can be used to stop enemies getting to your ranged traps.
Best used to make a to open area more walled off.

Guard Post
Cost: 300
See Rooms/Guard Post for more details.
Once you have a Guard Room you can place Guard Posts as places for your Guards to patrol to.
