Traps
Traps, once placed, are invisble until they are set of. Once you place a trap, one of your Imps will run to the workshop and fetch the trap. Each trap can only be set off a number of times before they become exhausted, and then your Imps will run and get another (if advailible) to reprime the trap. Flying creatures don't set of traps, so they aren't perfect defenses but they can help. To claim tiles with traps on, destroyimg the traps, see the traps description.

Alarm
Minium Workshop Size: Any size
Once triggered, this acts a a Call to Arms spell and calls your minions to the trap to see the enemy of.
12 Shots.
Just claim the tile.

Poison Gas
Minium Workshop Size: 10 tiles.
Once triggered, this trap releases a cloud of noxious gas covering several squares, and damaging any creatures in range, including your own.
5 Shots.
To claim, set of trap and grab Imp, hold Imp in your hand, wait for gas to disperse and drop Imp who should be able to claim tile.

Lightning
Minium Workshop Size: 13 tiles.
This trap blasts the enemy with lightning, causing far more damage the the poison gas trap and doesn't harm your creatures.
8 Shots.
To claim tile, hold one Imp in your hand, and wait until another Imp sets of the ligthning trap. Once the traps stops flashing, drop the Imp in your hand who should be able to claim the square before the trap restarts.

Word of Power
Minium Workshop Size: 21 tiles.
The Word of Power trap explodes and knocks enemy away, causing massive damage. The best trap to surround your Heart with. You do love yourself don't you.
3 Shots.
To claim this tile, hold 3 Imps in your hand. Drop the first Imp who dies setting the trap off, drop the second Imp who will, funily enough, die setting the trap off, now drop the third Imp who should be able to claim the tile (because it is all used up).

Lava
Minium Workshop Size: 17 tiles.
This tile destroys the ground underneath it and drops any creature on that square into lava. This is best used to stop enemy Imps from claiming rooms and lower level creatures from enetering your Dungeon.
This is a one shot trap and you can't claim the tile the trap is on.

Boulder
Minium Workshop Size: 17 tiles.
Boulder traps are always visible, and once set off, roll forward, crushing everyone in its path, killing all. Including your own. If a boulder hits a door the boulder is destroyed (although it will also destroy Wooden doors). If a boulder hits water it is also destoryed and if the boulder rolls into lava the boulder blows up with the effect of a word of power trap. Boulder traps hitting a wall try to roll to the right first, so plan your Dungeon around this. You can set off your own boulder traps by slapping them (as you would your creatures) and change the Boulders direction be slapping them as well.
Another one-shot trap, you can claim the tile in the normal meathod, as long as a boulder isn't sitting on it.

Doors
Doors are used to partition your Dungeon. Use doors to stop your creatures going to rooms you don't want them to enter (such as the treasure room and training room when you are short of Gold) or keep creatures were you want them (the angry Horned Reaper away from the rest of your minions). Doors also help to increase room efficency (see Hints and Tips). Doors can be locked or unlocked (move the hand pointer over the door and it changes to a key, then left click to lock/unlock. You can only lock/unlock your own doors. A locked door has a key above it.) Once locked, your creatures cannot pass that door. Use doors with traps to hinder the enemy, put boulder traps behind doors and poison gas/lighning/word of power traps on the enemy side of the door.
